The build quality uses Gorilla Glass Victus+ for both the front and back panels, paired with a plastic frame that manages to feel surprisingly premium in hand. IP68 water and dust resistance is included, which remains rare at this price in Nepal. Available color options locally are Black, Gray-green, and Lavender (White is unavailable in Nepal for now).

The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel is one of the A37's strongest selling points. It runs at FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2340) with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and tops out at 1,900 nits peak brightness. Deep blacks, vibrant AMOLED colors, and an 86.5% screen-to-body ratio round out a compelling display. Note: the A37 does not support HDR10+, which is reserved for the pricier Galaxy A57.

Performance

This is where the A37 diverges meaningfully from the A36. Samsung has swapped out the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in favour of its own Exynos 1480 chip, built on a 4nm process. In practice, the Exynos 1480 delivers noticeably smoother day-to-day performance — quicker UI transitions and fewer micro-stutters during extended use.

Memory configurations include 8GB and 12GB RAM paired with 128GB or 256GB of non-expandable internal storage. The phone ships with One UI 8.5 on Android 16, with Samsung's six-year OS and security update commitment keeping you covered through 2031.

Camera

The Galaxy A37 5G features the same camera setup as the Galaxy A36: a triple rear system with a 50MP f/1.8 main shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro lens. The 12MP f/2.2 selfie camera supports 4K video. Samsung's main camera performance is reliable and well-tuned for everyday photography — portraits, food shots, and landscapes all look great. The absence of a telephoto lens is a missed opportunity at this price point.

Battery & Charging

The Galaxy A37 retains the same 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging — capable of reaching 60% in about 30 minutes. Expect around 7 hours of screen-on time during normal daily use. There is no wireless charging support. Importantly, no charger is included in the box.
